Ghee is great for keto
Ghee has many proven health benefits and has been revered for millennia for it’s healing properties. But why is it specifically great for keto?
Ghee is a versatile fat with a very high smoke point – great for sautéing veggies! It’s loaded with a wide range of fats including medium-chain fatty acids, which can be readily processed for ketone production and quick energy. Ghee contains butyric acid, a highly ketogenic short-chain fatty acid that has anti-inflammatory effects. And let’s not forget to mention that ghee contains CLA (conjugated linoleic acid), a fatty acid that has been linked to weight loss.
